Xiaomi Mi Router

192.168.31.1 is the default gateway address for Xiaomi and Mi routers. You can also use miwifi.com to access the same settings page. Connect to your Mi WiFi, type this address in your browser, and you'll be able to change WiFi passwords, view devices, and configure your router.

How to Login

  1. Connect to your Xiaomi WiFi network
  2. Open a web browser
  3. Type 192.168.31.1 or miwifi.com
  4. Enter admin password (set during first setup)
  5. Click Login
First Time Setup: On first use, you create a password. There's no default password - if you forgot it, you'll need to factory reset.

Mi Home App (Recommended)

Easiest way to manage your Mi router:

  1. Download Mi Home or Xiaomi Home app
  2. Sign in with your Mi Account
  3. Add your router (or it appears automatically)
  4. Manage WiFi, devices, QoS, firmware

Change WiFi Password

  1. Login to 192.168.31.1
  2. Go to Settings → WiFi
  3. Find password field for 2.4GHz or 5GHz
  4. Enter new password
  5. Click Apply

Factory Reset

  1. Find reset button on router
  2. Press and hold for 10+ seconds
  3. Orange light will flash
  4. Wait for router to restart
