10.0.0.1 — Router Login
10.0.0.1 is the default gateway IP address used by Xfinity (Comcast), AT&T, and some other ISP-provided routers and gateways. Access this address to change your WiFi password, network name, and manage your home network settings.

How to Login
- Connect to your network — WiFi or ethernet cable
- Open a browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge
- Enter the address — Type

- Access settings — Change WiFi, view devices, etc.

Change WiFi Password
Via Web (10.0.0.1)
- Login to 10.0.0.1
- Go to Gateway → Connection → WiFi
- Click Edit next to your network
- Change the Password field
- Click Save Settings
Via Xfinity App
- Open Xfinity app
- Tap WiFi
- Tap Edit WiFi
- Change password and save
Enable Bridge Mode (Use Own Router)
If you want to use your own router with Xfinity:
- Login to 10.0.0.1
- Go to Gateway → At a Glance
- Click Bridge Mode
- Select Enable
- Connect your router to the gateway via ethernet
Note: Bridge mode disables the gateway's WiFi and routing features.
Troubleshooting

Find Your Gateway IP
If 10.0.0.1 doesn't work, find your actual gateway:

Factory Reset
- Find reset button on gateway
- Press and hold for 15-30 seconds
- Wait for gateway to restart
- Login with default credentials
Warning: This erases all custom settings. You may need to contact your ISP to reactivate service.
