Verizon Fios Router Login
Access your Verizon Fios Gateway to change WiFi password, manage connected devices, set up parental controls, and configure network settings. Use the My Fios app or login via web browser.
Login to Verizon Gateway:
192.168.1.1
Or: myfiosgateway.com | Password on router label

Find Your Password: Look on the sticker on your Fios Gateway for "Admin Password" or "GUI Password". It's unique to your device.
How to Login
- Connect to your Verizon Fios WiFi or ethernet
- Open web browser
- Type
http://192.168.1.1orhttp://myfiosgateway.com - Enter username: admin
- Enter password from router label
- Click OK or Login

Change WiFi Password
Via Web Interface
- Login to 192.168.1.1
- Click WiFi in the menu
- Select Basic Security Settings
- Find your network (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)
- Enter new password in WiFi Password field
- Click Apply
Via My Fios App
- Open My Fios app
- Tap Internet → My Networks
- Tap Edit next to WiFi network
- Change password
- Tap Save

Port Forwarding
- Login to 192.168.1.1
- Go to Firewall → Port Forwarding
- Click Add
- Enter device IP address
- Enter port number and protocol
- Click Apply
Self-Organizing Network (SON)
Newer Fios routers feature SON which combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz into one network name. Your devices automatically connect to the best band.
To separate bands: Login → WiFi → Disable "Self-Organizing Network"
Troubleshooting

| Password not working | Check router label for admin password |
| Forgot admin password | Factory reset (hold reset 15 sec) |
| Slow WiFi | Restart router, check for interference |
| No internet | Check ONT (optical box) has power |
| Can't find router label | Pull out router tray or check bottom |
Factory Reset
- Find reset button (small hole on back)
- Press and hold with paperclip for 15 seconds
- Wait for router to restart (3-5 minutes)
- Connect to default WiFi (on router label)
- Login with default admin password
Warning: Factory reset erases all custom settings including WiFi passwords.
Using Your Own Router
You can use your own router with Verizon Fios:
- Connect your router to the ONT via ethernet
- Release IP from Verizon router first
- Or use Fios router in bridge/DMZ mode
Note: Some features like Fios TV guide may require Verizon equipment.
