BT Smart Hub

To use BT router login, connect to your BT WiFi, open a browser, and type 192.168.1.254. Log in with the admin password printed on your BT Hub's sticker. Inside, you can change your WiFi name, password, and manage all connected devices on your home network.

Finding Your Password: Look for a sticker on the back or bottom of your BT Hub. The admin password is different from your WiFi password.

How to Login

  1. Connect to your BT WiFi network
  2. Open a web browser
  3. Type 192.168.1.254 or bthub.home
  4. Enter the admin password from hub sticker
  5. Click Log in

Using the My BT App

Easier way to manage common settings:

  1. Download My BT app (iOS/Android)
  2. Sign in with your BT ID
  3. Tap "Manage your hub"
  4. View/change WiFi password, see devices

BT Hub Settings

  • Wireless — WiFi name and password
  • Devices — View all connected devices
  • Advanced — DNS, DHCP, port forwarding
  • Parental Controls — BT Parental Controls settings
  • Broadband — Connection status and speed
  • Firmware — Check for updates

Change WiFi Password

  1. Login to 192.168.1.254
  2. Go to Wireless
  3. Click on your network (2.4GHz or 5GHz)
  4. Change the Password field
  5. Click Save
  6. Reconnect your devices
